About error correction
QR codes include redundancy so they stay readable when dirty or partly damaged. Levels range from L (7%) to H (30%): higher levels survive more damage but make the pattern denser, so print them larger. M is fine for most uses; choose Q or H for outdoor signage. The downloaded PNG includes the quiet zone (white margin) required by the QR standard — do not trim it off.

I got an error with long text.
QR codes have a data limit that shrinks as the error-correction level rises. Shorten the content, lower the level, or use a URL shortener.
