What makes a password strong today
Length matters more than complexity: aim for at least 12 characters, and 16+ for important accounts. Reusing passwords is the biggest real-world risk, so generate a unique one per service and keep them in a password manager. Every password here is drawn from a cryptographically secure random source, and each selected character set is guaranteed to appear at least once.
FAQ
Are generated passwords stored or sent anywhere?
No. Generation happens entirely in your browser, and closing the page leaves no trace. Save the one you need in your own password manager.
What is "Exclude look-alikes" for?
It removes characters that are easy to confuse when read or typed by hand — lowercase l vs 1, uppercase O vs 0.
